Les différentes positions de la couronne

La couronne des montres automatiques possède en général 3 positions :

• Position 1 : Le remontage
• Position 2 : Le changement de date (trotteuse des secondes toujours en marche)
• Position 3 : Le changement d’heure (trotteuse des secondes à l’arrêt)

Comment remonter la montre ?

Pour remonter votre montre dans les règles de l’art et dans le respect de ce que vous avez entre les mains, c’est simple :

• Placez-vous sur la position normale de la couronne.
• Tournez-la entre votre pouce et votre index vers le haut (dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, pratique !)
• Effectuez une trentaine de tours pour remonter complètement votre montre.

The different positions of the crown

The crown of automatic watches generally has 3 positions :

• Normal position 1 : Winding
• Position 2 : Date change (seconds hand still running)
• Position 3 : Time change (seconds hand stopped)

How to wound the watch ?

To wind your watch in the rules of the art and respecting what you have in your hands, it's simple :

• Go to the normal position of the crown.
• Twist it between your thumb and forefinger upwards (clockwise, handy!)
• Perform around thirty laps to completely wind your watch.
